How To Build Amazingly in Minecraft

This is an easy guide by Game4Aaron on how to make your Minecraft builds more beautiful by creating depth and detail to your designs.

This is a basic flat wall with no depth or detail.

By moving the wool back one layer, we add basic depth.

By adding some logs that stick out a bit creates some more depth.

The first bit of detail added was to the wool. About half of the white wool was replaced with grey to give the wall more texture.

When a surface is too big you should break it up with windows or a door.

By using slabs on the wall help emphasis the windows and compliment the depth added earlier.

The same is done to the bottom half of the wall by using stairs instead of slabs. This helps create more detail for the wall/

Other blocks can be used as well for detail such as anvils, flower pots, flowers, trap doors or item frames. Making the roof above the windows add a bit more substance to the wall.

For the finishing touches some fences / cobblestone walls and trap doors can be used to further add detail to the wall. Trapdoors are used to act as shutters and also help emphasis the detail of the wall.
