Optifine
Optifine is a very useful minecraft mod that helps lower lag while you play minecraft on your computer. It comes with customizable features such as fog settings, zoom in, animations and more! In this tutorial I will be going through the steps on how to install minecraft 1.8.
Installation
Step 1: Download the Optifine 1.8 Installer
Visit the link below and download any version of 1.8 Minecraft
Step 2: Activate the installer
Click on the installer you just downloaded, this should start the installer. Click "install" and the installation will start automatically.
Step 3: Start Minecraft
Launch minecraft and click on the bottom left hand corner to select the new 1.8 optifine profile. After that you should be able to see "Minecraft 1.8 Optfine" on the bottom right hand corner.
Now click "Play" and enjoy a better experience of Minecraft with better fps :)
