Why is playing on a Minecraft Server more fun than playing alone or on lan?

Why should you play on a Minecraft Server?

Though Playing on a Lan might be fun. Playing on a Minecraft Server is even more fun! Minecraft servers can add more commands/plugins/games. Lan can also do that by mods, but it is more complicated.

One reason Playing on a Minecraft Server is more fun is because we (as in we the Minecraft Server Owners) can add plugins to add more excitement to our server, such as jumpy boots or flying stick. The Possibility's are some what endless. But on the other hand there is local area network, Also known as Lan. Lan may have some possibility to add more goods, Most of those "goods" are modification or known as mods that other people in the community make. With servers you can just add a plugin to your plugins folder (if you have spigot or bukkit) and there you go, everyone can use it. But with a mod only people who have the mod can really only play together depending on the mod. Also adding a mod in your Minecraft can be somewhat hard. These are the reasons why playing on a Minecraft Server is much easier and more fun for the community of Minecraft.
